Kenya, Here We Come!

We have been longing to go to Kenya and meet with many coaches and leaders with whom we've been in contact since 2018. We are excited about the opportunities to launch FC Grace in this new country.

We are partnering with Pastor Musera at Calvary Chapel Nairboi to hold a 3-day FC Grace Conference for coaches in the area. Pastor Musera has reached out to 5 other Calvary Chapel churches to advertise this training to coaches. This is our first partnership with a Calvary Chapel church in Africa (our home church is also a Calvary Chapel church), so we are excited to see the fruit.

In Kakamega, we are partnering with FC Grace's long-time friend Pastor Dancan to hold a 3-day conference. In addition to his passion for soccer ministry, Pastor Dancun runs several boys and girls shelters, works at reuniting families through a relationship with Christ, and evangelizes all over western Kenya.

Without our feet touching the soil of Kenya, there are already great opportunities to expand. For example, we recently received an email from Pastor Ereng who has started 100 small Calvary Chapel churches in the north as he travels around, evangelizing and discipling. Pastor Ereng sees the advantage of sports ministry as a means to reach those who won't step inside a church and wants to work with us.
